All apartments come with fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas, while some rooms share access to a spacious common kitchen and lounge. The property maintains a quiet residential atmosphere inside a historic building, with rooms that blend period architecture with self-catering practicality.
Location
The property sits 500 meters from Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping thoroughfare, and 550 meters from the Edinburgh Playhouse and Omni Centre. Edinburgh Castle is 1.3 kilometers away, and Waverley station is reachable within a 650-meter walk. Edinburgh Airport is 14 kilometers from the hotel, with tram and bus stops nearby.
Services
A self check-in system uses digital keypad codes, with the host providing support via WhatsApp, SMS, and email throughout the stay. Guests receive generous supplies, including complimentary tea and coffee in the shared kitchen, and the host has been known to return forgotten items by international mail at no cost. Express check-in and check-out, along with private check-in, are available for convenience.
Family-Friendly
The hotel offers a Family Room with Private Bathroom, suitable for groups traveling with children. Shared common living areas provide space for socializing, and the building's historical character-reminding some guests of Harry Potter-adds appeal for families. The quiet location is within walking distance of the Royal Mile and Calton Hill, yet removed from city noise.
Guest Experience
The host, Sav, has been praised for going above expectations, such as allowing early bag drop and late checkout without charge.
